- The drive works. The problem is with the game programmers insisting
- on doing copy protection, track loader disks and generally not following
- the guide lines. AT wasn't able to get the same floppy drives that C= put in
- the 1200s. The drive is with in the specs for an Amiga drive but due to
- many game programs assuming that the drives would always behave exactly
- like the old drive, their software breaks. Now a lot of people are
- bitching at AT about the drives when it's the game programmers that are
- causing the problems. If they would just use the Amiga DOS file systems,
- their games would work. This type of stuff is why programming guide lines
- exist and should be followed.

- These problems with the floppy games will continue until AT desides to
- loose the floppy in favor of a CDROM drive, forcing those game and demo
- programmers to go to CDROMs and HD installable formats.
